SUMMARY:Event: Monthly Meet - Stand Up or Bench Shoot
DESCRIPTION:We will be having a stand up\, off hand match\, and a bench shoot category on the same day.  Just declare your preference\, setup\, load and shoot. \nWe will be shooting the 25 yard NMLRA targets and 50 yard NMLRA targets along with an animal silhouette.  Everyone will shoot the same targets and the only difference will be standing off hand or bench supported sitting based on how\, what you feel capable and most comfortable doing. \nTotal shots will be 20\, so bring powder\, shot\, patches for at least 20 shots plus practice\, warmup shots.  We will be using the NMLRA scoring methods for this one.  There will also be time limits for each relay of shots to ensure we get completed prior to the heat of the day. \nWe will meet and sign in starting at 8:30am with a start time goal of first shot at 9:30am.

Hit the card creates your hand.  Miss\, hope you get 4 of a kind. \nFirst and second best hands split pot. \n2nd relay\,  Challenge match novelty shoot. \nChallenge another shooter for a $1 and pick your target.  One shot each\, hit or miss.  Keep shooting till a winner.  Targets will be placed random distances on the range. \nSo we will have a William Tell target\, low hanging fruit\, burst your bubble(balloon)\, cut a string\, blow up the coffee\, lite a fire (charcoal briquet)\, others as we come up with them.  All these targets are environmental friendly and easy cleanup so we leave no trace. \nSee you all Saturday.

DESCRIPTION:In this event you can shoot either over log\, or from the bench. You may bring any long-gun you want as long as it’s a muzzle loader. \nCheck in is from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM. Event begins at 10:00 AM. \nThe first 1/2 hour is to site in your long-gun at 50 yards. Then\, each participant is given 10 official chunk targets. One shot per target. Score keeper measures distance of center of target to center of shot hole. Those measurements are added together for a total score. The lowest total wins.
