SUMMARY:Event: Monthly Meet - September 2023
DESCRIPTION:We will be shooting two relays\, 10 shots each\, patch and roundball\, any caliber in these two shooting classifications off hand and bench for rifles and pistol this month. The classifications will not compete against each other for prizes\, just bragging rights. We will have our optional category for handguns as well. \nFirst Relay:\n10 shots at 50 yards\, we will be shooting two big bullseye targets. We need to aim a lot smaller and miss smaller even more five shots each bull. Everyone shoots rifles here. \nSecond Relay:\n10 shots at 25 yards\, small hunting target squirrels for points. It is a tough little bugger of a target so be ready to aim small miss small. Here is where it gets a bit different. If you use a rifle\, 25 yard target. But you may shoot a pistol in its place and the target will be placed at 15 to 18 yards. Some folks like to shoot them tree rats with a pistol! It is your choice to shoot either rifle or pistol. Keep in mind this target has been donated and picked out by Bobby W. \nBoth relays will be added together for placement within your appropriate shooting category off hand or bench rest for ranking of results. Now this may turn in to a four category shoot depending on how many we got with pistols and rifles. But please always remember\, it is not about the placement\, it is about the other prizes\, friendship and fellowship. Challenge yourself not others. \nFirst shot determines your scoring category. No changing your mind after first shot. So pick either offhand or bench. Bring a pistol and a rifle if ya got em. We want to make sure you get some practice in cleaning your guns after the shoot.
