SUMMARY:Event: Monthly Meet - Friends\, Family & Guests shoot September 24\, 2022
DESCRIPTION:As the fall season is almost upon us\, leaves beginning to change\, high school and college football season as well as other family activities are here. Our normal 4th weekend shoot date is almost upon us. So September 24th we will be meeting on Range B. End of summer\, leaves a falling\, cool breezes with chilly mornings and back to school has started. \nSo we will be starting the registration sign in at 8.30am on Saturday September 24th. The course of fire description and safety briefing will start shortly there after with the goal of starting the shoot by 9:00am. There will be of course the usual cast of characters running around to distract and entertain you. They will even help you out if you need a hand with anything. \nWe are having our two shooting categories\, off hand and bench to compete in classifications for fairness. We do not want to exclude anyone who wants to shoot with us but we will not compete against centerfire or scopes to be fair for example. \nWe will be shooting two relays\, 10 shots each\, patch and roundball\, any caliber in these two shooting classifications off hand and bench for rifles. The classifications will not compete against each other for prizes\, just bragging rights. We will have our optional relay for handguns as well. \nFirst Relay:\n10 shots at 50 yards\, we will be shooting hanging clay pigeons\, bust em or miss em for 5 shots and we have steel hangers and swingers for the remaining 5 shots. Keep in mind we got the state championship coming up in September down at Brushy Creek and hunting season around the corner. So we need to aim a lot smaller and miss smaller even more. \nSecond Relay:\n10 shots at 25 yards\, small hunting target for points. It is a tough little bugger of a target so be ready to aim small miss small. \nBoth relays will be added together for placement within your appropriate shooting category off hand or bench rest for ranking of results. \nThird Relay:\nWe are having a third relay with handguns. So bring your single shot or cap and ball revolvers. We will have two categories\, both off hand. Single shot will shoot 3 shots each at two bullseye targets and cap and ball will shoot 5 shots at two bullseye targets for score. They will be the same targets but will not compete against each other for score. This relay is optional and will be a stand alone score for handguns only. \nFirst shot determines your scoring category. No changing your mind after first shot. So pick either offhand or bench. \nSo start time: 9:00am\,\n20 shots total\,\nPatch and roundball.\nThird relay\, pistols-single shot and percussion revolvers. \nGuests are always welcome who just want to watch\, learn and meet folks.  Bring a chair and we got two picnic tables to sit at as well. \nParticipation Fee: If you are …\nMember of both TRBPS and PCSC: $5\nMember of TRBPS and not PCSC: $10\nMember of PCSC and not TRBPS: $15\nMember of neither: $20
