Jones Mtn Winter Rendezvous 2024

It was pouring rain off and on all yesterday morning. Probably 30 minutes rain, 20 minutes no rain.

Had 11 folks show up to shoot!!!!!!! It had rained most of the night already. Shot for a half hour in the rain, quit raining change targets. Start raining shoot, quit, change targets. The weather changed to tell us when to go hot to cold. Unreal. No real wind so we stayed under cover, shot and talked. Guys were thrilled with the new gravel floor for their feet. So much more comfortable and they said so multiple times.

Stayed and shot for over three hours in the rain!!!!!! Everyone was shocked how many showed but were so happy to be out and with friends. Just a bunch of good guys enjoying what we got. Wonderful casual day. We stayed basically dry and warm and could not beat the fellowship and friendship we have.

February 23rd will be our first of the season shoot. It will be our Over the Log in honor of Alvin York. Keep an eye on your emails as a formal announcement and description email will be coming out about the first of February. In the meantime we hope to get our hut delivered and a lot of the remodel completed. So keep your eyes open for further updates and called work days.
