Event: Monthly Meet – Timed and Moving Targets for May 28, 2022

$20.00So we will be starting the registration sign in at 8:30am on Saturday May 28th and start the course of fire description and safety briefing with the goal of starting the shoot by 9:00am.
We are having two shooting categories unsupported or off hand as it used to be known as and supported to compete in classifications for fairness. We do not want to exclude anyone who wants to shoot with us but we will not compete against centerfire or scopes to be fair for example. Supported is the bench rest, shooting sticks, kneeling, sitting, prone et all shooting group.
We will be shooting two relays, 10 shots each, patch and roundball, any caliber in these two shooting classifications supported and unsupported. The classifications will not compete against each other for prizes, just bragging rights.
First Relay:
10 shots at 50 yards, small bowling pins, steel swingers, simple hit or miss for points. They are getting even smaller for those that shot with us a month ago. They are known as the bulls balls. Plus steel reset target plates. So a shot at each type of target at 50 yards and they must be hit in order as we will have 10 different targets at 50 yards.
Second Relay:
10 shots at 25 yards, small target for points. It is a tough little bugger of a target so be ready to aim small miss small.
Both relays will be added together for placement within your appropriate shooting category unsupported (off hand) or supported (bench rest, shooting sticks etc).
Third Relay: First Ever for TRBPS
We have two more unique first ever targets used at a shoot with TRBPS. Timed and moving targets. At this point we are still trying to determine, First – if they will work, Second – hold up to our shooters, and Third – design a match using this unique equipment. So as we test em, use em, we are looking for feedback, guidance and ideas on future matches.
First shot determines your scoring category. No changing your mind after first shot. So pick either supported or unsupported.

Member of both TRBPS and PCSC: $5
Member of TRBPS and not PCSC: $10
Member of PCSC and not TRBPS: $15
Member of neither: $20
Guests are always welcome who just want to watch, learn and meet folks. Bring a chair and we got two picnic tables to sit at as well.
Bring water just in case it heats up, chair to chill in and be prepared for our after shoot debrief at the Talking Rock train brewery to share stories and ideas for the future. Very nice, quiet and friendly place. Support a local family building their dream.
