Event: Monthly Meet – Standard with Big “A” Crow, then special challenge with pistol

We are having two shooting categories, off hand and bench to compete in classifications for fairness.  We do not want to exclude anyone who wants to shoot with us but we will not compete against centerfire or scopes to be fair for example.

We will be shooting two relays, 10 shots each, patch and roundball, any caliber in these two shooting classifications off hand and bench.  The classifications will not compete against each other for prizes, just bragging rights.

10 shots at 50 yards, small bowling pins, steel swingers, simple hit or miss for points.  They are getting even smaller for those that shot with us a month ago.  They are known as the bulls balls. Plus steel reset target plates.  So a shot at each type of target at 50 yards and they must be hit in order as we will have 10 different targets at 50 yards.

10 shots at 25 yards, small target for points.  It is a tough little bugger of a target so be ready to aim small miss small.

Both relays will be added together for placement within your appropriate shooting category off hand or bench rest for ranking of results.

In May we had a unique target that was built and tested I call the ferris wheel. A four armed rotating clay pigeon holder to test yourself against.  This target and others will be used in our shoot program to keep the program fun and challenging.  Video is available on our website of it in action at www.trbps.com .  At this point we are still trying to determine the scope of our program as well as we see what members like, equipment we have, what we like to shoot and design a match using this equipment.  So as we test em, use em, we are looking for feedback, guidance and ideas on future matches.  We are adding a fun third relay with handguns.  So bring your single shot or cap and ball revolvers.  We will set up targets and shoot em to determine the interest level in this component of our shooting sport.

First shot determines your scoring category. No changing your mind after first shot.  So pick either off hand or bench.
