Monthly Meet – Shadows & Bats – October 26th 2024

Shadows & Bats
We are having our two shooting categories, off hand and bench to compete in classifications for fairness. We do not want to exclude anyone who wants to shoot with us but we will not compete against centerfire or scopes to be fair. Heck bring your gun to work on and shoot. You do not have to shoot for score, just come and enjoy the day with fellow BP shooters.
We will be shooting two relays, 10 shots each, patch and roundball, any caliber in these two shooting classifications. The classifications will not compete against each other for prizes.
First Relay:
10 shots at 50 yards. we will be shooting vampires so make sure your roundball are dipped in garlic and holy water. If you cast your own a tad bit of silver will be some added insurance for you.
Second Relay:
10 shots at 25 yards, we will see if we can find some bats to shoot.
Both relays will be added together for placement within your appropriate shooting category off hand or bench rest for ranking of results.
First shot determines your scoring category. No changing your mind after first shot. So pick either offhand or bench.
So start time: 9:00am – 20 shots total, Patch and roundball. Conclude, scored, awards given, range cleaned up and gone by noon is always the goal.
Our Third Relay:
Will be a pistol match independent of the rifle match. Participation is voluntary if you have a pistol and want to shoot it for score.
We have some more hooded sweatshirts, long sleeve shirts and we will continue to be selling raffle tickets for our hand made donated quilt by Robbie.
MEMBERS: Remember that we will have a Trade Blanket at all monthly meets starting in 2024. Bring any items you would like to sell, trade or barter. The items can be anything – Old, New, Blades, Period Clothing, and all manner of supplies.
Guests are always welcome who just want to watch, learn and meet folks. Bring a chair and we got two picnic tables to sit at as well.
